Bill Warner PhD Jihad vs Crusades

Whenever you're dealing with an apologist for Islam, or even a Muslim, and you bring up jihad, almost immediately, they kickback to you: “But what about those terrible crusadesé Why they're the moral justification for jihad and we're just as bad as they are. So let's not talk about jihad, okayé Let's talk about the Crusades.â€ Well, what I would like to talk about are facts. It turns out I sat down and put together some work and

I created a database of some 548 battles that Islam fought: jihad battles against classical civilization. This isn't even all the battles. It really doesn't say much about Africa and India, Afghanistan, and all that. It's primarily the battles against the classical civilization of Rome and Greece. 548 battles is a lot, and it's too much to even comprehend. So I created something which I call a dynamic battle map in which you have a display of the Mediterranean and a white dot means

that in this twentyyear period, that's a new battle. So every time the screen changes its 20 year period, White colors turn to red so you can see the history. This may seem a little confusing, but I think when you see it you'll know exactly what I mean. Here it starts: Islam burst out of the Arabian Peninsula and immediately starts attacking the Middle East. Notice that it doesn't take long until they're crossing the Mediterranean and attacking southern France, and Spain. Notice something else here.

When most people think of Islam, they think of Arabs; they think of desert. And yet here we see that Islam is projecting power throughout the Mediterranean. Notice how the little islands of the Mediterranean are getting hammered. The navy of Islam would attack coastal towns, kill, rob, rape, and then take slaves. So this whole battle map, as it unfolds, you see slaves being taken. Over a million slaves were taken out of Europe into the Islamic world. It's something you don't think about much but it's absolutely true.

There are over 200 battles fought in Spain alone. We also see however on the East Coast in Turkey that Islam is trying to break into Europe. Now what's going to happen is in Spain this ongoing fight that lasted for 400 years is the Christians are going to push back the Moslems. But now then what is happened over in the East is that Constantinople is fallen and now then Eastern Europe is getting hammered. The jihad now comes to Eastern Europe. It's pushed out now of Spain, northern Africa is now completely Islamic,

and the Middle East is completely Islamic. This is all jihad, relentless jihad. And why is it so relentlessé Well, Mohammed was relentless in his jihad, and these people are good students of Islam. And so it's (jihad) against the Kafir, on and on. It was traditional that when the Sultan came to power, the brandnew Sultan, he would immediately try to launch new wars,

A guide to Harvard Referencing

Hi, my name is Jonny, and I'm a student atthe University of Derby. One of the areas that a lot of new studentsrun into trouble with is referencing. I'm going to talk you through a commonly usedstyle known as Harvard referencing. When you're writing a piece of academic work, you'll be researching and reading a lot of work done by others to help formulate yourideas and arguments. You need to acknowledge where you found theinformation; not only because it's fair to give credit to the person whose hard workyou're using, but also to avoid plagiarism. When using the Harvard referencing system, there are two stages to highlighting other

people's work in your own, citing or referencing.Citing or citation is what you do in the text of your essay, where you highlight words orideas that you've incorporated from somebody else's work.Referencing, is where you put all of the details of the source of the information that you'veused at the end of your work in a separate section. The way that you use citation in your work, depends on whether you're using a direct wordfor word quote from another piece of work or if you're putting somebody else's ideasinto your own words. If you're copying a statement word for word, you need to put quotation marks around it.

If you're writing somebody else's ideas inyour own words, then you don't need to use quotation marks. For both direct quotes and putting somebody else's work into your own words, you needto then indicate the source of the information, in brackets, at the end. These details are there to lead the reader to the full information at the back of thedocument. A citation only includes a maximum of threepieces of information. If you're copying a direct quote, this willbe: the authors surname, the year the source was published and the page number. If it's not a direct quote, you should include

the author and the year the source was published. The reference section of your work should include all of the information about the sourceof the statement that you've used in your essay. Each separate source of information should always start with the same information asthe citation in your essay, so the source materials' details can easily be found. You should then organise each source alphabetically by the author. If for any reason there is no author, you should use the title of the source instead.Under the Harvard system, the order you present the information for each of your sources hasto be done in a particular way.

If you've got your information from a book, then you need to write down the following: The author or editor, the year of publicationin round brackets, the title in italics; bold or underlined, the edition if it is not thefirst edition, the place of publication and the publisher, the series and volume numberwhere relevant. If you used the information from an ebookin your work, then you need to write down the following:The author or editor, the year of publication in round brackets, the title in italics; bold or underlined, nameof the ebook collection in italics; bold or underlined, the phrase quot;Onlinequot; in squarebrackets, the words quot;available atquot; followed

by the url of the ebook, the word quot;accessedquot;followed by the date you accessed the information in brackets. If you used the information from a journal in your work,The author, the year of publication in round brackets, the title of the article in single quotation marks, the title of the journal in italics; bold or underlined and the volume, issue and pagenumbers. If you used information from an online journalin your work, then you need to write down the following:The author, the year of publication in round brackets, the title of the article in singlequotation marks, the title of the journal
