Isaiahs Endtime Prophecy
quot; And this Good News of the Kingdom shall bepreached in all the world for a witness unto all nations and then shall the end come.quot;(music playing) quot;Fact is His only true name Yahweh was obscuredfor centuries while the incorrect substitute Jehovah was mistakenly put in its place.quot;.quot;We find here that it was Paul's manner to worship on the seventh day Sabbathquot;.quot; There's only one way to be just in scripture and it happens through obedience to the Fatherand that means His commands and His laws.quot;. quot;If there is any one truth that we must understandabout the Messiah it is His heritage.quot;. quot;Yahweh saw something in you that He can useand so He called you as a candidate for everlasting

When it comes to prophecies about the Messiahand our Father's coming Kingdom, there is one prophet that stands out from all the restand that is the prophet Isaiah. Now before we delve into this man's prophecy, here area few facts that you may not know about Isaiah.
Similar to the Messiah, whose name is “Yahshua, which means, “Yahweh is Salvation, Isaiah's name means, “Salvation of Yahweh. Also,Scripture shows that Isaiah was married with two sons. He also prophesied under kings Uzziah,Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah. According to scholarship, he prophesied somewhere between 740 B.C.Ethrough 680 B.C.E. And as I've already mentioned, he's unparalleledwith his prophesies regarding Yahshua's Coming and our Father's Kingdom.I would like to begin today with his description of the day of Yahweh, or perhaps better knownto you as the day of the Lord. For those unfamiliar with this phrase, this isn't referring toa day of worship, but to the tribulation that
will precede our Savior's coming. In Isaiah 13:9 we find a reference to this day. Isaiah 13:9, we find these words, “Behold, the day of Yahweh cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate:and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the stars of heaven and the constellationsthereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, andthe moon shall not cause her light to shine. And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. I will make a man more precious than finegold; even a man than the golden wedge of
Ophir. Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of Yahweh of hosts, and in theday of his fierce anger.â€ We see here a description of the Messiah'sSecond Coming. What theme do we find within this passageé When Yahshua the Messiah returnsto this earth He will do so with vengeance. As it says here, He will lay the land desolate. The word “desolateâ€ comes from the Hebrew shammah and means, “ruin.â€ He will literallybring ruin to this earth when He returns. I want you to notice His focus; it says herethat He will destroy the sinners, that He will punish the world for its evil and willcause the proud to cease or come to an end.
Matter of fact, he says here that after thisthat man will be more precious than fine gold. You know biblical scholars estimate that onlyonethird to one–tenth of the population of this world will survive the Great Tribulation. We also see here that there will be signs in the heavens. Isaiah prophesies that theearth will remove from her place; Revelation speaks of stars falling from heaven and heavenitself departing as a scroll. Now while some of this language is likely symbolic, Scripturealso shows that many of these signs will literally happen. Are we ready for such events as wefind here; will we be able to stand firm as we watch and witness this world and mankindbrought down to their kneesé
EndTime Prophecy 101 Outline of Revelation
Gary Petty Well, good evening, everyone.I'm glad all of you could make it here this evening. We were discussing what we wouldlike to do for our next series of Bible studies, and the subject came up of prophecy. And sowe discussed, well, what type of prophecy or what prophecies do we want to cover. Andwe came up with the idea, we just called it EndTime Prophecy 101. We wanted to, overthe next five studies, just give an outlines of what the endtime prophecies talk about. We could have gone through messianic prophecies, we could. there's all kinds of prophecieswe could have gone through. But we want to go through the basics. And we want to givesome details, some details, we won't have
time to give. Other times, we're going tobe covering material that we don't have all the answers to. So before we get started, why don't we alljust rise and bow our heads. Father in heaven, we thank you so very, very much for the opportunityto be here tonight. We ask You to open our minds to Your Word, and to Your truth, andto be humbled by it, Father, that You give us this information, that we, in our mindsguided by Your Spirit, understand part of it. As Paul said, “We see through a glassdarkly, but we can understand what You give us. So we ask for Your direct help tonight. You will inspire us to learn more about what
You tell us about the future, so we cannotlive in fear, but we can be prepared, Father, and know that You will be with us. So we thankYou, we praise You, and we ask all things in Jesus's name. Amen. So in our theme of EndTime Prophecy 101,tonight, what we're going to try to do in an hour is tell you everything you alwayswanted to know about the Book of Revelation. Now what I want to do is just give an overviewof the Book of Revelation. Now, we're going to go through a lot of material, and we'regoing to be through it, some of it very quickly. I'm just going to be touching on certain things.I mean, obviously, we can spend an hour on
each chapter of the Book of Revelation andstill not cover everything. We're not going to speculate a lot. When we're speculatingsome, I'll tell you when we're speculating. We're just going to try to give you an overviewof what the Book of Revelation shows us about endtime events. One of the reasons, too, we decided to dothis was because of the questions that we get. Our people write in to Beyond Today,or they write in to the UCG website, and a lot of questions we get lately, because peoplesee the world unraveling, is “Is the tribulation startingé Is the tribulation about to beginéHow will we know when it beginsé Is President
Obama the Beastéâ€ We get those kind of thingsall the time. So I think we can go through tonight and at least figure out that the tribulationisn't going to start tonight. We know that much. There's some events that have to happenbefore, and I think we can come to a pretty, pretty clear understanding that Mr. Obamais not the Beast. Okayé There's something greater here that God is doing. And thereis an evil that is on the horizon, and is probably going to happen in our lifetime. Let's start with the first slide we're goingto show here is Revelation 1:3. quot;Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the wordsof this prophecy, and keep those things which
are written in it, for the time is near.quot; So we know that this book was written specifically to help Christians throughout history, butalso specifically to help those at the end of the age when the time was near, so theycould see what was going on. Now, not to always know and predict exactlywhat's going to happen next, but to know what's happening as it happens. Sometimes we tryto speculate on specific prophecies so much. If you've been in the Church long enough, you've been through many times where there was some specific prophecy with the idea ofhow it would be fulfilled. Those are fun things to do and we should be watching prophecy, but we have to be very, very careful. Now
